Poultry Microcredits

Unfortunately, the majority of broiler meat in Ghana is imported - though there is enough capacity to produce locally. To improve the non-appealing reputation of agriculture in general and to promote local production we teamed up with Farmtastic, a poultry project in Juaben in the Ashanti region. The initiative supports women in agriculture as well as agriculture in general and gives out microcredits to rural women to help them to venture into poultry production. Apart from supplying dayold chicks we supply knowledge on how to take care of the birds, mix feed, vaccinate etc.
